Our support services cover everything from minor plugin updates to complex security fixes, ensuring your site runs smoothly. Billing is based on the complexity of the task and actual hours worked: Basic Support ($120/hour), Advanced Support ($240/hour), and Critical Support ($420/hour).
🔍 What does the initial check involve and what do I need to provide?
We offer a free 15-minute check of your site. To do this, we need you to provide either access to your WordPress dashboard or detailed screenshots. If giving access, add user support@funkpd.com as an admin in your WordPress dashboard. WordPress will send us an invitation to set up a secure password. If sending screenshots, please include the plugins page, themes page, WP update area, and site health page. With this information, we'll review your plugins, themes, and overall site health to identify key issues that need addressing.
💻 How do you ensure no harm during updates and what if an issue arises?
We start with a full backup using UpdraftPlus, perform updates in a local environment, and conduct thorough testing before applying changes to your live site. If an update causes an issue, we can quickly restore your site from the backup and selectively update components to resolve the problem. If any bug or issue slips through our review, we will fix it for free if found within 7 days.
📋 How do you communicate progress and offer ongoing support?
We provide detailed reports on the work done, including what issues were found, how they were addressed, and any recommendations for future improvements. We offer ongoing support for any minor adjustments needed post-delivery and provide additional consultation as requested. For continuous support, visit our Maintenance Service.
🔝 How do you handle tasks that need more time than the Basic Support package allows?
If we start a task under the Basic Support package and find it requires more time or complexity, we'll let you know right away. We'll explain why the task needs more time and give you the option to upgrade to our Advanced Support package. This ensures we can complete the task properly without unexpected costs. You always have the final say on whether to proceed with the upgrade or not.
🔄 Can hours roll over and what is the response time?
Yes, unused hours from Advanced and Critical support packages roll over to future tasks, ensuring you get the most out of your investment. Response times vary by package: Basic (24-48 hours), Advanced (12-24 hours), Critical (within a few hours).
